Easy Solutions for Trip Hazards

Trip hazards can be a major liability for any company. Most trip hazards go ignored because most people think they have only two options: the expensive, time-consuming option of having the area cut-out and re-poured with new concrete or the very messy option of grinding the trip hazard down.

We offer a third solution that is much faster, cleaner, less invasive, and affordable for repairing indoor or outdoor concrete trip hazards.

OUR SOLUTION

Outdoor Concrete Trip Hazards: our crew installs Flash Track to transition between the two different levels creating a smooth ramp for personnel and equipment traffic.

Indoor Concrete Trip Hazards: our crew uses a similar method using Flash Floor.

Both Flash Track and Flash Floor cure incredibly fast allowing for the flow of traffic to resume with minimal interruption.

WHAT CAUSED THE TRIP HAZARD TO FORM?

Most trip hazards form because of subsurface issues. If a void forms underneath the concrete this creates unstable concrete which will start to sink over time. Sometimes the slab will become stable once it has completely settled. In other cases the slab needs to be stabilized before the trip hazard can be repaired. Our crew can stabilize the slab by injecting a stabilizing foam underneath the slab to fill up any voids. More details on this method can be found here.
